I camped this guy for a few days recently, hoping for the slippers. I saw him about a dozen times and he commonly dropped the weapons and never the slippers, so I'd guess they are his rare drop. I later camped the queen's room for several hours and saw the crystal purifier twice and he dropped the slippers both times, leading me to think they are his common drop.

Drop rate

Killed him about 7 times and he dropped 5x blades, 1x sword and 1x 2hander. Changed the blade drop rate to common (was ultra rare).
