Notes

[edit]

Note: You must have at least indifferent faction to do this quest.

Note: Maybe not. Human cleric following Innoruuk was able to complete at Apprehensive

Note: This quest is heavily nerfed on Green/Teal. As a WE Druid, I turned in 3 stacks of bone chips at level 3 to give ~4% per turn in. Don't waste your time.

Doing this quest about 100 times will take your faction from scowling to warmly.

As a Human Wizard on Green (5/2/2020) I went from 4-6 with 4 stacks. First turn in dinged 5 and last turn in dinged 6, also went from apprehensive to amiable

As an Erudite Cleric (Prexus) on blue (26 Mar 2023), went from 1-13 using 2016 bonechips. This includes the exp for turning in the note to guild after character creation.

Note: While this quest can help low-level characters level up quickly, those characters will not gain the skill level increases (melee, spell casting etc.) they might have gotten during normal levelling.

Exp Gain

[edit]

(Dec, 10th 2020)Note: Rumor on the forums is these grant less than previously expected experience per turn-in.

Notes

[edit]

Based on the Ranger and Bard data, the quest turn-in is between 3165 to 3184 XP, unless that amount is more than 1/8 of a level or it completes the level. The XP reward also cannot be more than 3184 XP, otherwise 40 turn-ins would have completed level 6 on the Ranger and Bard.

As a fun thought experiment. It requires 64,689,900 to go from level 59 to 60. At 3,184 xp per turn in it would require 20,318 turn ins to level from this quest. At 4 chips required per turn-in that is 81,272 bone chips. This is 4,064 stacks of bone chips. At a normal market price of 10p per stack thats 40,064 plat worth of chips. If it takes you 5 seconds to click in each quest turn in, it would take 101,590 non-stop seconds of clicking in bone chips. This is over 28 hours of clicking. This does not include all of the time it would take to transport or purchase this many stacks of bonechips.
