Spawns in place of Spectral librarian after you turn in Dull Diamond for the Enchanter Epic Quest. Upon his death he will spawn 2-6 Freed Souls each of which cast fast 500pt aoe nukes.
You don't need to kill this mob to progress the Enchanter Epic Quest.
