The zone timer is 10m30s so if slyder really has just one PH then you can't kill it 5 times in 30 mins.
I killed slyder while alone in zone, waited 10m30s and tried to find the emerald adder that would sit on top of track but after scouting the entire zone I couldn't find a "fresh" one. Either I missed it, the PH is on a different timer or there is no PH and it just has a small chance to pop on every snake respawn/death.
