Description
Since the Chardok 2.0 patch the spawn mechanic has been randomized and the respawn timer is no longer 20 mins. Spawn timer is exactly 1 minute and 18 seconds.
A rare spawn Troll Shadow Knight on Bertoxxulus Reputation. Killing him will lower your faction with them. He has a skeleton pet and Harm Touches on engage.
A level 25 druid with minimal gear should be able to solo him. Charm an elephant and have it attack Groi first to eat the Harm Touch. After pet engages dismiss summoned 2x on his pet to get rid of it, then its just either root/rot or snare kite.
He wanders the area between Splitpaw, Hermit, and Aviaks. a lion is the placeholder if he is not up. Kill all roaming a lions in the area and he will spawn often. Green Server confirmed 3 spawns in under 2 hours on a hill north of Aviaks, and multiple spawns within 12 minutes at different places.
He can spawn at many of the spots shown on the map and likes small dirt mounds with little pine trees on them. It includes 2 hours of one Groi Gutblade's pathing that started at -4800,-500 heading Southwest. He pauses for a moment at the red spots and then turns, on the green dots he turns without stopping. Sometimes he turns around and reverses direction. Groi is KoS to Aviaks and a strong Avocet can kill him.
