If the song lands immediately (i.e. ~1 sec) after a server tick, the song's effect will only be active for 2 ticks.<br />

To illustrate, as a hungry (no stamina regen) lvl 60 bard, Jaxan's Jig o' Vigor will restore 25 stamina each tick. If I time the song so that it lands immediately after my mana tick and immediately stop playing the song, stamina will increase by 25 twice, for a total of 50 stamina gained. However, if I time the song so that it lands immediately before a mana tick, stamina will increase by 25 three times, for a total of 75 stamina gained.<br />
