The Planes of Power was an early, post-classic expansion to EverQuest. It provided a trading hub, the Plane of Knowledge, with portals to all major cities, a large amount of mid- and end-game content for raids and groups, expanded [[tradeskill]]s, expanded Alternate Advancement skills, and new interface features. Most players will agree that it was a significant milestone in EQ&amp;#039;s development, and introduced more influences to the MMORPG genre in general.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
EverQuest saw significant growth, possibly peaking during the era of this expansion. It competed with Dark Ages of Camelot (which was released one year prior) and it would still be two years before World of Warcraft.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
