| description = Lord Yelinak is the leader of the Claws of Veeshan and one of the few remaining first brood - the dragons originally deposited upon Norrath by Veeshan herself. Lord Yelinak and Jaled'Dar (Founder of the Ring of Scale) had many disagreements regarding the role of dragonkind. Yelinak believes that the purpose of dragonkind is the worship of Veeshan while Jaled'Dar believed ruling over Norrath's many races was their divine purpose. Lord Yelinak was the final authority on the sealing of Kerafyrm and the main target of his rampage upon awakening. Casts [[Ice Breath]] and [[Mind Cloud]].

=== Strategy ===
Lord Yelinak is perma-rooted. His lair is slippery. Make sure everyone has levitation.

Rampages. Not slowable.

Lord Yelinak's AEs can NOT be LOSed since the zone is flagged outdoors as of 9/14/15.

Belly caster.

Wizards: Porlo's Fury (bane) or Lure of Flame; Sunstrike is resisted almost all the time.

=== P99 Red Strategy ===
Due to the nature of Archery in Project 1999, Lord Yelinak can be easily killed with as few as 20 people.

Requirements:
- 3 clerics
- 1 Warrior defensive tank (~6k hp)
- 1 bard
- 15 (large race) Warriors with a *Weighted Axe*, a Fleeting Quiver and about 800 arrows (this requirement could be lowered depending on gear and arrow supply)

Since aggro is really not an issue on rooted dragons (thanks Bio Orb) the play is simple...

Tank will get summoned every ~6 seconds, which gives him time to run out of Melee range and click his Bio Orb (to maintain aggro). (Note: He probably orbed 40-50 times before engage!). Use defensive as it is available.

Clerics will quickly get the rhythm of casting Complete Heal while the tank is safe and sound (Note: This strategy could easily apply to other rooted dragons)

While the tank is dancing with Yelinak your 15 warriors (more never hurts) will be firing arrows at an alarming rate and can down the beast in approximately 10 minutes (Position yourselves so you won't accidentally hit the tank when he get summoned, you can even be on top of the waterfalls to his left and right).

- Anyone in your guild who doesn't meet the above requirements could load a Porlo's Fury wizard apply basically the same strategy for DPS
