=Spawning Information=

Spawns at -1700,-15 (see image) then immediately paths to the hill giant area. Based upon my experience, the hardest part of getting Blackwing to spawn is finding it's placeholder. The easiest way to do this is to run over to the the hill giants area and gather up the potential PH's - (Basalt Drake, Obsidian Drake, Onyx Drake, a Basilisk or Shardwing) swarm them all down. After clearing the mobs return to -1700, -15 and wait ~6 minutes for the respawn. Once you have this spawn locked down you will have Blackwing in no time! Respawn timer for this mob is 6 minutes 40 seconds. (Never once did I encounter a lizardman as the PH for my 4-5 hour camp here).

If you're high level enough, you can use the Highsun method. Song of Highsun every mob that is a possible PH (basilisk and roaming drakes of all types). Most will come running back for you which is fine. After a while, you will have a swarm following you. Once you gather everything in the hill giant and spawn location vicinity, head to the spawn location. Now start highsun-ing every mob. Most mobs will simply gate to the hill giant area but the one that you want will gate directly to where you are at-- the spwan point. Now that you have the PH down, it's a matter of patience until you get Blackwing. Notice that song of Highsun only works at day-time.

= Dangers =
The primary danger in this area is the drake that is involved in the Shadowknight epic, [[Rharzar]], if he is up. This Drake is level 55, KOS, sees invis, and nukes for 760. It is very easy to avoid Rharzar as long as you are aware of his path.
